23rd Annual Mule Races
Race Entry Information: All race entries will be taken Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 8:00am to 9:30am for Saturday's Races and 10:30am to 11:30am for Sunday's Races. If you are not going to be on the grounds, please call Kirk at 775-623-2220. Non-started mules must have two official gate works within 30 days of race date. Mules that have run in Official races but not yet started this year must have one official work within 30 days of race date. Official gate work slips, signed by the starter, must be turned in to the race office. These works must be on file in race office prior to entries. You will need to have works done before coming to Winnemucca. Fax to 775-623-6355. It is the trainer's responsibility to provide these works at time of entry and not the racing secretary's job to research and find them. If you are not going to be available at the race track on entry day, please fax front & back of papers to race office prior to entry at 775-623-6355. Animals nominated in Futurity & Derby must call in entry on Thursday morning. Jockys must wear a safety vest during the races. Tracks will not provide any type of protective vest. Don't forget the 25-Mile Endurance Race on June 4, 2010 and the Calcutta at the Reception on Thursday, June 3, 2010. Also, all prize money winners, expect a W-9 form from the Winnemucca Mule Show & Races. 2010 Mule Futurity
